For my 21st birthday a few years back, my parents shocked me (and my visiting friends) by giving me a car. Like I said, I was shocked when it happened, and have been forever thankful! Anyways, when I got the car it had about 50,000 miles on it, and that was 3.5 years ago. Well this morning on the way to work, my car hit the 100k mark! When I hit it the mark I let out a few 'woohoo's!!' in my car and honked the horn a few times while fist pumping the air. I'm sure the other drivers around me were thrilled.
It's been a great, reliable, and relatively maintenance free vehicle. I do all the routine work myself with a little help from my roommate (changing the oil, transmission fluid flushes, rotating tires, changing filters, etc) and it's definitely paid off. I will need to go see a friend down in Lynchburg who's a master mechanic for a dealership and have him do all the belts and stuff here in a bit, but the preventative maintenance is needed so my whip keeps on rollin' for many days to come! Pictures of hitting the 100k mark are below. (It's tough merging onto 66 in rush hour traffic while attempting to take a photo of the odometer in the dark with a bumpy road!)

I try to take pictures while I'm in the car all the time, so I'm really impressed!
i can't believe you were so well prepared to take pictures of that! You should have posted video of when you opened up the box with the keys!
