Orange Sky

So there's a new show debuting tonight called Southland, I'm sure you've heard the commercials. What your ears may not have picked up on however is a particular song playing in the background; The song 'Orange Sky' by Alexi Murdoch [which is a really good song by the way.] To most this may seem like any other song to throw into a promo, but I know better. Once upon a time I was hooked on a little show called The OC. Laugh if you want, but it's true, and I don't deny it, I also have ears that can pick out a song that I know I've heard before. Because of these two facts I was able to make a connection that is no coincidence. I'm convinced that Alexi Murdoch and Ben McKenzie have a deal going on, that that song must be played at least one time in every prime time series Ben appears in. Want proof? Check these babies out:
