I'm a huge dork for a lot of things, [The OC admittedly is one of those] but I feel as though my huge dork and fan level for all things that go fast, and more specifically American muscle cars makes up for the non-manly ones. Since we've now established I'm a huge dork for American muscle as well, It's safe to let everyone know that even though I don't have my car....yet [very very soon] I've already bought some goodies to start upgrading the Colonel.
I bought an oil catch can [which basically collects vaporized oil particles that would other wise be blown back into the intake through the PVC system]. While this isn't necessarily a 'performance' mod, it will keep the engine and engine bay much much cleaner and healthier over the life of the vehicle.
Also ordered just this past week was a Mopar cold air intake, and Mopar hood struts. The cold air intake will help the engine breathe a lot better by getting more air mixed in with the fuel, it will also open up the exhaust a little more, since more air coming in, means more exhaust coming out! Plus it'll look freaking sweet when you open the hood. And speaking of the hood, the hood struts are purely cosmetic, but at least I wont have to use the stupid looking hood prop bar, but rather just lift up the hood and it'll stay right there. It will also help when working on the car, since the hood prop will no longer be in the way.
These parts currently have no home! I WANT MY CARRRRRR!!!!

I'm getting a new car soon too! I don't have fancy parts for it though - I wouldn't know how to put them in anyway!
That's what instructions and online videos are for! I didn't just magically know how to do this stuff! We can add some pep to your car too! :)
It looks like a bluc cupcake liner! :-)
