Blurry Eyes

There are a lot of accessories that tend to go with biking/cycling. Obviously you have your bike, but then come all the "additionals." You've got your cycling specific clothing, shoes, gloves, helmets, pumps [or Co2 cartridges], seat bags for carrying little items, water bottle cages, bike computers, etc, etc. Yea, it can be a little overwhelming for the new cyclist. But there's one other accessory that also has the ability to make or break your ride, (wait, you mean there's more?!) Yep. Glasses. Eye coverage is key people!

On some of my more recent rides, I've been having a problem with too much wind getting to my eyes causing my vision to get pretty blurry after about 2 hours of riding. My current pair of riding glasses are the Oakley Flak Jacket's with the standard sized grey lens. The standard size lens just isn't cutting it, so I decided to pick up a pair of the XLJ sized lenses and see if that will make any difference. The XLJ is just a slightly larger lens that comes down towards the cheek a little farther, to provide more coverage. Hopefully they do the trick! Also, instead of grey, I went ahead and got the 'Positive Red Iridium' color for riding during the day, and a set of clear lenses for when I ride at night. They look pretty cool. I'll be sure to update after my next ride if this solution works.
