1970 vs 2009 Hemi Orange

I was perusing around the internet yesterday afternoon and came across a great picture of a 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T....in Hemi Orange! It even had the side body stripes and everything, it was my car's identical twin, just from a different era. 'How cool is this?' I thought, as I looked at what my car would've looked like 40 years ago.

So I grabbed my camera real quick and drove down the street to try and re-create the shot in today's world. I did park the car facing in the opposite direction though since the gas cap is now on the driver's side of the vehicle instead of the passenger's. I found a spot that even looked really similar to the first pic for the background. Not much else to say. Enjoy the pics.
