Challenger Play Time

Yesterday afternoon, one of my friends from the ChallengerZ forum swung by my house to show me the new exhaust he had just installed on his car. He's got a Challenger R/T as well, but his has the automatic transmission (which in its stock form, is a little quieter than the 6 speed exhaust.) He got Corsa's new product, the Corsa Extreme cat-back exhaust system, which was the exact same exhaust I was looking at getting for mine before I decided to buy a new bike instead.

So we decided to go for a little drive on yesterday's beautiful afternoon, and of course I couldn't miss the opportunity to bring along the GoPro and have a little fun trying to capture the sound of his new exhaust. I followed him all afternoon, and the camera was either mounted just above his rear license plate, or right next to my front plate. It did get a little windy, but you can still hear his new exhaust pretty well. The new exhaust combined with his cold air intake and tune, probably gave him another 20 horsepower to the wheels. You combine that with the speed of how fast a computer can shift gears, and that'll explain why he was able to pull away from me on the straights.

I didn't put a ton of time into the video, but I'm quite happy with how it came out. Happy Friday folks, and enjoy!

As much as I'd love to get a new exhaust on there, I just don't see it happening by then. All my funds go to traveling and gas and crazy adventures during the summer....and those memories are priceless!

The phone lines are open though if you feel like making a donation to the Corsa fund! :)
