This delightful kid[s] on a leash photo came in last night from my Aunt Paula aka, my "Fairy Godmother"!! Kid On A Leash Part VI

I just received a text from my good friend Chev with an unbelievable spotting. THREE Kid's on leashes! Yes, three! Here's what he had to say: "I know it's hard to see, but trust me when I tell you I hit the jackpot! 3 kids on leashes! Trifecta for LeBlanc!" Trifecta indeed my good friend trifecta indeed! [For those of you keeping score at home, that's 75 points in one picture!] As always, find a kid on a leash, snap a picture, send it to me, and it goes up on the blog!

Kid On A Leash Part VI

Just as I was running upstairs earlier to grab something in my house, I spotted this small family for an evening stroll right across the street. Whatever was upstairs could wait, I had to get a picture of this 5 or 6 year old looking KID ON A LEASH! [Seriously, he looked a little old to be on a leash, and how much trouble could he really get into on an evening stroll?!]

I must apologize for the poor quality of the pic. I couldn't use the flash and the natural lighting was not bright so the shutter was remaining open a little longer than normal, thus you get all the motion blurring. Plus, they were across the street and I snapped the pic from my dining room so I wouldn't get busted. Anyway, KID ON A LEASH!

Kid On A Leash Part V

I know I know, I've been slacking a little with the posts recently, but here's one that should help cheer ya up!!

Last week I got more emails with 'Kid On A Leash' pictures! The first few come from my sister in law, Katie. She's probably the best Kid On A Leash photographer I know. I highly recommend her for all of your Kid On A Leash photography needs.

The last picture, comes from my Uncle Paul who snapped the picture walking through the Orlando airport last week, and I quote directly from his email: "I practically ran over an old guy to get this [picture]" -- Excellent work Uncle Paul, YOU RULE! Also, he mentioned to give my mom credit as well since she was the one who spotted it. Keen eye Mama Stratton, keen eye!

Well, kid on a ski-leash really, either way it's still funny. My brosef and his wife Katie went snowboarding the same place I did this week, just a few days later, and they were able to capture this picture on the slopes. Hats off for your crack-reporting and photography skills guys!

Flowergirl On A Leash!

In an exciting twist, Katie once again has come through with these super duper shots of a FLOWERGIRL ON A LEASH from a wedding she recently attended. Now, I don't have any kids of my own, but I can't imagine trying to pick up your kid by the leash itself. C'mon lady!! Just remember, that kid your slinging around will be responsible for your care in like another 50 years!

Kid On A Leash Part III

Okay, my apologies for not updating this as often as I had. I hit a really busy spell, and am way behind on posting stuff. That being said, ON WITH THE SHOW!

My most favorite of all of my sister-in-law's, Katie, has been quite the sleuth behind the lens as of late. This first set of 'Kid on a leash' pictures were sent in about 2 weeks ago. I think we have some serious paparazzi talent on our hands! Enjoy!

Kid On A Leash Series

"KID ON A LEASH!"

That's a text message I'll send or receive from time to time, and it always brings a smile to my face. It all started about 3.5 years ago, senior year senior week at college. One day we were going to Hershey Park in PA, and we had come up with a series of sightings worth different points as we walked through the park. Some of which included NASCAR apparel, flip flops with socks, a fanny pack, a mullet, kid on a leash, etc. Bonus points would of course be awarded if you could combo up and find someone with more than one qualifying trait. It was a great day and quite possibly more fun and interesting than any rides in that park.

Jump a couple years ahead, and 'kid on a leash' still lives on today! Anytime someone sees a kid on a leash we immediately text everyone else who still plays the game to let them know about our find. It's always completely random and always gives me a laugh. Sometimes I'm able to snap a picture. This is where the blog comes in. The first picture [seen below] comes from my San Diego trip in April, at the famed San Diego Zoo. I know I have more, and I'll try to dig some of them up and post them as well.
